Silk Screening

So as you all know last meeting we silk screened. Huge thank you to Ms. Shakespear for hosting us!

So here was the process:

First we designed our stencil.

After we were done designing, we taped our designs to a screen, taped newspaper around it, and started to silk screen!

As we did more, we realized that we needed to correct ourselves slightly each time and that it was not a one-shot thing. And we needed A LOT of ink.

After much trial and error, we were successful!

Then we hung up all of the posters to dry.

We all enjoyed ourselves so much!  And it was a beautiful day; I hope that we can do this again sometime.
